Art inspired by science, made by a scientist
I started making art in the middle of my Neuroscience PhD program as a very intentional effort to do something for myself, other than working on my research.
After years of looking through a microscope, I now make bright and colorful art inspired by forms and patterns found in biology and nature.
I’m drawn to abstract and fluid mediums because I love balancing the organic movement of color with the planning and control required to harness the chaos into something beautiful.
